Violence in Mexican parliament

This is the video of the clash between PAN-PRI deputies against PRD opposition deputies. What BBC fail to report is the fact that inside the parliament there were a lot of presidential guards whose mission is to ‘support’ deputies from PAN and PRI to avoid the opposition’s deputies to take over the tribune for the next days to hamper Calderon swearing in on next December 1.

In the end the ones who took the tribune were PAN-PRI deputies along with the presidential guards. This is becoming a weird situation as now it has become a bit complicated even going to the toilet as security guards have specific orders to allow deputies to leave the place but not to get back. Should pro-government deputies want to avoid leftist to take the tribune they will have to stand there till next Friday, which makes the situation tragically funny.

The reason why leftist are blocking Calderon is simple: he did not win last presidential election. Nor he has been willing to clear all the doubts about the transparency of such process by denying recounting the ballots.
