In recent days, President Hugo Chavez and some political figures of Spain starred a fight, politically speaking, of course. On the one side, Chavez who has been elected several times by Venezuelan people and hence holds the legitimacy that the so-called democracy gives, interrupted Zapatero in his speech. The problem was that Chavez was, and is reluctant to accept Jose Maria Aznar as a democratic figure, and instead he called him a 'fascist'.
Zapatero, confronted Chavez. Demanding 'respect to those who were democratically elected by the people', he asked president Chavez to be cautious and politically correct when referring to Aznar. In turn Chavez made emphasis in that Aznar promoted along with the CIA, and the ultra conservative Venezuelan the coup against him,.. therefore his argument about Aznar remained.
Visible irritated, Juan Carlos, the king of Spain, shouted,... 'why don't you shut up!,...
Such an attitude is understandably. Being himself a fascist product. We just have to remember how Juan Carlos came to become king of Spain. To begin with, Franco, the brutal dictator and assassin, at the end of his life inherited the throne to Juan Carlos in 1969. Later on, still during Franco dictatorship, a referendum took place and showed that 'the people was relatively happy with Juan Carlos' as franco's political successor. What an option spanish had to make! choosing between nothing at all and someone who 'many people regarded as not very capable'.
In deed, not only spanish ordinary people had that impression of Juan Carlos but also the political elite had that idea. To support this, watch the video on franco and Juan Carlos, below. In fact, the appointment of Juan Carlos was an opportunity spanish had to gradually get rid of a dictatorship.
But going back to the ill humoured king and its roots. We said that Juan Carlos himself is a fascist and our argument is that he not only collaborated with a regime under which thousands of people were assassinated but he is still the main beneficiary of that. In addition to that, Franco's regime was closely linked to Germany, and Hitler himself. There are a number of investigations that account for the military and tactic support that Hitler provided to Fraco during the civil war, and in return franco sent some spanish to fight with Germany.
Perhaps the king's temper has to do with the fact that he dislikes to remember that part of his background.

Latin America
Why don't you shut up, you son of a Franco?

If there is anyone that has no right to demand that a participant keeps quiet at a Latin-American conference, that is the king of Spain, who is the only head of state present that has not been elected to office by anyone. If someone is right in their interventions at a Latin-American Conference, it is he who accuses the fascist Aznar and denounces the imperialist voraciousness of the Spanish companies in Latin America.
Regarding Aznar, it is sufficient to remember his complicity with Bush and his pleasure flights in the planes belonging to the Miami mafia boss that organizes terrorist outrages in Cuba, as well as his collaboration in his electoral campaigns. Against King Juan Carlos, it would be sufficient to ask him why he has never asked the king of Morocco to keep silent every time he shows his dictatorial lineage. Regarding the Spanish trans-nationals, it would only be necessary to remind them that the only reason they are able to carry out their business in Latin America is because of the complicity of the governments that privatized the companies they bought at knock-down prices and with the guarantee of captive markets. Against Zapatero's attitude we can say that it is very clear that he prefers mending fences with Bush rather than helping to facilitate the new and authentic integration of Latin America.
Who has told the Bourbon son of a Franco that he has the authority to try to shut up a Latin-American president that has been ratified by his electorate on many occasions? Why is Zapatero dropping himself in the shit by defending the fascist Aznar instead of collaborating with the new Latin American insurgency?
By checking any newspaper archive it can be demonstrated that Aznar's government and the CEOE (the Spanish Businessmen Confederation) were accomplices to the United States in the coup d'état against Chávez. And it can also be proved that the big mass media outlets that applauded the coup had to retreat, embittered when legality was reestablished in the country.
Did the king of Spain ask the Venezuelans that took part in the coup to be quiet? Why don't you shut up, Juan Carlos?
